On 22nd December 2025, Atma Malik International School (CBSE) and Atma Malik Senior Secondary High School (SSC), Sahapur successfully organized a large-scale Orienteering Event, offering students an enriching learning experience beyond the classroom. With enthusiastic participation from 1,200 students of Grades 5 to 10, the event emerged as one of the most engaging and inclusive co-curricular activities of the academic year. Designed to combine physical fitness with mental agility, orienteering required students to navigate through designated areas using maps and directional clues, encouraging them to think critically and act independently. The activity was thoughtfully structured to suit different age groups while ensuring safety, and it effectively fostered teamwork, leadership, decision-making, and spatial awareness.
Throughout the event, students displayed remarkable concentration, endurance, and confidence as they interpreted maps accurately, navigated checkpoints, and completed challenges within the stipulated timeframes. Teachers and coordinators closely supervised the activity, ensuring its smooth execution and creating a supportive environment that motivated every participant to give their best. Beyond enhancing physical well-being, the event played a vital role in nurturing essential life skills such as strategic thinking, resilience, time management, and self-discipline.
